And Now for Something Completely Different

Last month, I was hired to photograph a party that featured a garden tour. As I was photographing the beautiful landscaping, a monarch butterfly decided to pay me a visit. Fortunately for me, I was using one of Canon’s macro lenses, and was able to get quite close. Now, being a photographer and not a lepidopterist, I’m not able to tell you a whole lot about this butterfly, other than it wasn’t camera shy!
